Plaza de España will host the 24th edition of Nerja’s Resident’s Day next Sunday, April 19th — an established event that has become a symbol of coexistence among residents of all nationalities living in the municipality.
The Councillor for Residents, Ana María Muñoz, accompanied by Paula Anthony, presented the programme, highlighting that its main aim is to strengthen the bonds between the more than eighty nationalities living in Nerja and Maro.
“This day is dedicated to all residents of our town. There will be around thirty stands representing foreign associations and community groups, along with a varied programme of performances taking place throughout the day for everyone to enjoy,” said the councillor.
The event will begin at 12:00 with the traditional concert by the Nerja Municipal Band, followed by a full programme of cultural and leisure activities designed for all audiences.
The Department of Residents invites both locals and visitors to take part and enjoy this day of connection and celebration, which, as in previous years, will be hosted by Paula Anthony.
Resident’s Day has become a benchmark of integration and multiculturalism, reinforcing Nerja as a welcoming and diverse place for those who have chosen this Costa del Sol town as their home.
