Please be aware: Rastro Market does not have an exact street address. To find it, follow Calle Cisne to the roundabout, where you’ll find the entrance to the market area.
Held every Sunday morning, the Rastro brings together an eclectic mix of stalls selling second-hand goods, antiques, vintage pieces, books, clothing, household items, collectibles, tools, furniture and plenty of curiosities. You never quite know what you’ll discover — and that’s part of the fun.
Unlike Nerja’s regular Tuesday market, which focuses more on fresh produce, clothing and everyday market goods, the Sunday Rastro is all about pre-loved items and hidden treasures. Some stalls are run by regular traders, while others are simply local people clearing out cupboards, garages and collections.
It’s a relaxed way to spend a Sunday morning, whether you're hunting for a bargain, looking for something unusual for your home or simply enjoying a wander through the stalls.
Where is the Nerja Rastro
The Rastro is held in the Almijara area of Nerja, around the same market area used for the Tuesday market. Access is via Calle Mirto, following the road towards the market area.
When?
Every Sunday morning, generally from around 9:00 until about 14.00
Going earlier usually gives you the best choice, particularly if you're looking for antiques or something specific. Prefer a leisurely browse? Arrive a little later and enjoy the Sunday atmosphere. Some stalls arrive a little bit later so around 11.00 is busiest time.
