San Cristóbal Festival (Verbena)

San Cristóbal Festival (Verbena) 2026

The festival begins on Friday 10 July at 19:00 with the official opening speech by José Doña Salcedo. The first evening will also include the election of the Festival Queen and Festival Gentlemen. Following the ceremonial switching on of the festive lights, visitors can enjoy a free paella tasting, kindly sponsored by Ayo, before enjoying performances by Elisa Ariza and her group Aire Flamenco, followed by music from DJ Manuel Moreno.

The celebrations continue on Saturday 11 July with a free sardine tasting, the traditional Foam Party (courtesy of Atracciones Paquito), dance academy performances, a Zumba session led by Gema and Jotxan, and a live performance by Salvador García "Pitu". Throughout the day there will also be children's entertainment featuring Amapola and Perdigón, ensuring plenty of fun for the youngest visitors. The festival will conclude with a fireworks display, bringing the celebrations to a spectacular close.

Luis Ponce and Elena Gálvez thanked the Amigos de Los Poetas Neighbourhood Association for its dedication and support in organising the event, and invited both locals and visitors to come along and enjoy the San Cristóbal Festival 2026—"a celebration that brings together community spirit, tradition and entertainment for the whole family."
