Tucked away in the heart of town, Khao Hom brings authentic Thai and Lao cuisine to Nerja with flavours that truly transport you. From the moment you walk through the door, there is a sense that you are about to experience something different - something layered, aromatic and full of soul.

Let’s start with the starters; because they deserve their own moment.
The spare ribs are simply too good to miss. Tender, flavour-packed, slightly sticky, beautifully seasoned and perfectly balanced. They are one of those dishes that make the whole table go quiet for a moment.

And we must, must mention the owners and staff. They are not just staff anymore - they have become friends. The warmth, the genuine smiles, the way they remember you, the way they guide you through the menu if you want something new… this is also why we keep coming back.
We have often been the last ones to leave. Many evenings the clock has quietly moved beyond closing time - yet never once have the staff shown anything but kindness. Their smiles and friendliness have never faltered. There has never been pressure, never a negative glance, only warmth until the very end. That kind of hospitality is special - and it says everything.

We have enjoyed smaller, intimate evenings with friends.
And we have had our quiet “just us two” moments.
