Through the streets of Maro.

18:00 – Lighting of the traditional bonfires (lumbres) in the streets of Maro.

18:00 – Charanga street parade with Vaso Largo Band,
together with the Maro Festival Committee, who will act as the jury for the competition.

22:00 – Lighting of the Great Bonfire in Plaza de la Iglesia.
With thanks to Miguel Valverde Muñoz for creating the bonfire in Plaza de la Iglesia year after year, building a great tradition.

22:30 – Alfredo Rodríguez.

00:00 – DJ Manuel Moreno.

SATURDAY, 17 JANUARY

12:00 – Mass in honour of San Antón, Church of Las Maravillas.
Charanga street parade with Brass Town.

14:00 – Festive dance (Verbena) with live performance by Alalba,
at the marquee in Plaza de Maro.

16:00 – Performance by the Christian David Callejón Dance Group.

17:00 – Performance by Ángela Muñoz Dance Academy.

17:00 – Performance by the Choirs and Traditional Dances of Nerja and Maro.

17:00 – Hot chocolate, organised by the Maro Festival Committee.

19:00 – Procession of the Patron Saint through the streets of Maro,
accompanied by the Nerja Town Band.
(Fireworks and spinning wheels)

23:00 – Requiebros.

00:00 – Alalba.
