Flamenco Intrépida (fearless) - Rocío Bazán

One of Málaga’s most internationally renowned flamenco singers presents this dramatized flamenco musical—originally created for the Málaga Flamenco Biennial—which combines cante (vocals), toque (guitar), and the dance of Antonio González.

As she explains: “*Intrépida* tells the story of how I am the great-granddaughter of a flamenco-loving sailor. It goes beyond just me; it represents my loving insistence on continuing to sing and my perseverance in sharing my personal vision of flamenco with the world. Intrépida embodies my calling to converge with the human diversity found in flamenco. It is my way of understanding life. Intrépida is in my blood... Intrépida—that’s me!”
