Javier is the most internationally renowned guitarist from Malaga, thanks to his continuous tours around the world, earning acclaim in concert halls and theaters throughout Europe, Central America, Turkey, Japan, and the United States, where he performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. He is currently Professor of Guitar and Director of the Malaga Higher Conservatory of Music, in addition to giving Master Classes at Conservatories and Universities in Europe and the United States. The World Spanish Guitar Foundation presents one of today's most outstanding pia-nists, winner of the 2023 Rovere d'Oro International Prize, the latest in a long list of awards in national and international competitions for young pianists. In 2018, he released his first album and has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles in prestigious concert halls throughout Italy, Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Energy, cohesion, sensitivity, freshness, emotion, professionalism… these are just some of the words that come to mind when you attend a performance by this band, formed in 1989 by the talented guitarist Lito Fernández, also renowned for his work with Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones), Big Jack Johnson, Luther Allison, Henry Donjeany (Aretha Franklin’s guitarist), Raimundo Amador, and Richard Ray Farrell. In their more than 20 years together, the band has forged a reputation as a fantastic live act, touring Spain with hundreds of concerts and participating in the country’s main Blues Festivals. They have amassed a large following of fans of all ages who faithfully attend their performances to enjoy the Maestro’s masterful playing time and time again.

Composed from introspection and created from emotion, it aims to break free from stereotypes with its own unique style that blends classical guitar, touches of Spanish folk music, harmonies, and exotic rhythms. Arabic and Indian influences, flamenco, contemporary guitar techniques—all while telling a story, the story of a soul and its journey through life’s most essential emotions. A work created to move and stir the viewer, who will enjoy a new audiovisual experience with new sounds and the use of new technologies in harmony with the Spanish guitar.

This flamenco guitar duo (Juan Carlos Gutiérrez) and piano (Diego Suárez) is a tribute and homage to the great themes of Paco de Lucía, taken to a different realm from traditional flamenco. The sound of the piano and guitar playing flamenco delves into the realm of virtuosity, blending tradition with a fusion of guitar, classical piano, and Latin jazz. An explosive mix that will give the audience a unique experience unlike anything they’re used to hearing from a flamenco guitar and a classical piano.

For the third consecutive year of resounding success, Lourdes Nieto and the Alhaurín de la Torre Municipal Dance School, where she is a head teacher, present this show that unites the passion of dance with Holy Week. This Spanish dance piece narrates the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through dance, with moments such as the baptism, the betrayal of Judas, the Last Supper, and the Crucifixion.

The National Opera of Moldova offers us one of Verdi’s most famous operas, with its orchestra, chorus and international soloists, which add up to more than 70 artists on stage. It is one of the most prestigious lyrical companies in Eastern Europe, and has been touring in our country for 13 years, with large-format productions with which it has garnered notable public and critical success. La Traviata is famous for its emotional depth, the richness of its score and unforgettable arias such as Semper libera, Libiamo ne’ lieti calici or Addio del passato. Verdi achieves here a moving synthesis between human drama and lyrical music of the highest beauty.

Fleeing into exile, she leaves her brave sister Anna to embark on a dangerous journey alongside a stubborn mountain man, his loyal reindeer, and a hilariously charming snowman named Olaf.

Founded in 2019 by acclaimed Ukrainian dancer and choreographer Aleksey Bugutski and based in Lisbon, Worldwide Ballet Theater brings together a cast of exceptionally high-level artists, trained in some of the best ballet academies in the world, showcasing elegance, refined technique, and stage excellence through tours across all five continents. Premiered in 1940, Romeo and Juliet remains one of Prokofiev’s most beloved works, built on a rich melodic foundation, rhythmic diversity, and unforgettable main themes, including the famous Dance of the Knights and the delicate, lyrical character of Juliet.

The Blue Stompers Jump Review

For many years, this group has been the dark crown jewel of blues on the Costa del Sol — a multinational band formed by Javier Martín on bass, British-Cypriot Paul Stylianou (harmonica and vocals), one of the most seasoned blues guitars in the Fuengirola region — Víctor “Elmore” Sánchez — and Olmo Sánchez on drums. The Stompers deliver a sound rooted in Woogie Boogie, Afro-American blues, New Orleans jazz from the 1940s, and the raw edge of R&B reminiscent of Dr. Feelgood.

First concert of this orchestra made up of musicians trained in top-level conservatoires, with outstanding careers in national and international ensembles, all united by their shared passion to bring symphonic music to every type of audience, from the great classical masterpieces to contemporary works. The orchestra is conducted by Javier Fernández Pereira, who balances his teaching role in the municipality alongside his work as a director.

Let yourself be carried away by the duende of flamenco Christmas carols performed live by the company of Nerja-born dancer Belén Heredia, where cante, guitar, rhythm and dance are dressed in celebration. It’s a festive flamenco zambomba filled with emotion and tradition. Belén Heredia continues to combine her teaching in the municipality with her artistic life on stage, with a long career across venues throughout Spain and internationally, reaching audiences as far as China, Japan and Chile. A hugely successful audiovisual live music performance with seven musicians on stage, playing fully live with no playback. Exclusive in Spain, this is the only show of its kind currently touring the country, celebrating the legendary British trio Bee Gees. The concert journey goes from their early hits to the iconic soundtrack Saturday Night Fever, including many of the songs they wrote for major artists such as Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers and Dionne Warwick, among others.
