2nd Villa de Nerja Folklore Festival

Nerja celebrates the 2nd Muestra de Folclore Villa de Nerja, bringing traditional music, dance and folklore to the heart of the town.

The evening begins with a colourful parade through Nerja town centre, departing from beneath the Town Hall on Calle Carmen.

The celebrations continue in Plaza de España, with performances by traditional choir and dance groups from Granada, Vélez-Málaga, Nerja and Maro.

The programme also includes the Fandangos Cortijeros del Río de la Miel and the Panda de Verdiales de El Borge, showcasing two distinctive expressions of Málaga’s traditional musical heritage.

A lovely opportunity to experience the music, dances and traditions that form part of the cultural identity of Nerja and the surrounding region.
