Nerja to Celebrate Pride on 27 June with Parade, Awards and Live Entertainment

Nerja will celebrate Pride on 27 June with a full day of festivities, including an awards ceremony, a colourful parade and a lively celebration in Plaza de los Cangrejos. The programme aims to promote diversity, equality and respect in an open and welcoming atmosphere for both residents and visitors.

🗓️ SATURDAY 27 June | 12:00 – The day begins with the reading of the official Pride manifesto in the Town Hall's Plenary Chamber, followed by the second edition of the "Pride of Nerja" Recognition Awards, honouring individuals who have shown a strong commitment to promoting equality and defending the rights of the LGTBIQ+ community.

🌈 SATURDAY 27 June | 20:40 – The colourful Pride Parade will set off through the main streets of Nerja before arriving at Plaza de los Cangrejos for the Grand Pride Celebration. The Pride Parade (Gran Desfile del Orgullo) starts from the Arcos del Balcón de Europa (the arches at the entrance to the Balcón de Europa). It then makes its way through the town before finishing at Plaza de los Cangrejos, where the main Pride party begins. ( please see - Orgullo Nerja Instagram ).

🎤 SATURDAY 27 June | From approximately 21:30 – The celebrations continue in Plaza de los Cangrejos with live performances by Star Woman, Lollipop, Elettra, Carmen Soto, King Kokito, Felina, Tigretón and The Miller Rockets.

Councillor Daniel Rivas has invited everyone to take part, highlighting that these activities reinforce Nerja's commitment to equality, diversity, respect and the protection of human rights, helping to make the town an increasingly inclusive and welcoming place for all.
