THE XVI WALK FOR EQUALITY 💜

📝 Registration from 11:00 am

You are invited to take part in a day where we walk together for equality.

🎽 Participants will receive a T-shirt, water and fruit.

🤝 During registration, participants are asked to bring 1 kg of food, preferably non-perishable items, hygiene or cleaning products, which will be donated to Caritas.

Join us, take part, and be part of this day of commitment, solidarity and equality.

PROGRAMME 6th–26th March

Friday, 6th March

Placement of banners at the Town Hall and installation of muphis (advertising displays) at different points around the town.

Children’s Batucada (percussion parade) – Plaza de España.

Institutional Act: Reading of the Manifesto and theatre performance
“1933: Spanish women vote for the first time.”
Location: Town Hall Plenary Hall.

20:00
Illumination of municipal buildings and other locations.

Saturday, 7th March

Theatre performance: “Cinderella Who Didn’t Want to Eat Partridges.”
Location: Centro Cultural “Villa de Nerja”
Free entry until full capacity.

Sunday, 8th March

16th Walk for Equality
Location: Balcón de Europa

Organised by: Women’s Association “Siempre en Forma” and the Department of Equality.

Participants are asked to donate 1 kg of food for Cáritas – San Miguel Parish.

Monday, 9th March

Talk: “How to build affective-sexual education beyond pornography.”

Co-educational activity for students from Nerja and Maro

10 workshops: “Supergirls / Superboys”
Location: In the respective schools.

Co-educational activity for students of IES El Chaparil and IES Sierra Almijara

Equality Gymkhana
Location: At each corresponding secondary school.

Friday, 13th March

Opening of the exhibition “Living History of Women”
Organised by the Andalusian Platform supporting the European Women’s Lobby

Location: Sala Mercado
The exhibition will remain open until 31 March.

Visit tour to Ronda

Activity aimed at women’s associations of Nerja.
