Javier is the most internationally renowned guitarist from Malaga, thanks to his continuous tours around the world, earning acclaim in concert halls and theaters throughout Europe, Central America, Turkey, Japan, and the United States, where he performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. He is currently Professor of Guitar and Director of the Malaga Higher Conservatory of Music, in addition to giving Master Classes at Conservatories and Universities in Europe and the United States.
