SUMMER PROGRAMME AT PLAZA DE LOS CANGREJOS
Summer Programme at Plaza de los Cangrejos
Plaza de los Cangrejos will once again become the main stage of the summer from 20 July to 25 August.
The programme features a wide variety of live entertainment, including musical performances in many different styles, flamenco, traditional Spanish copla, jazz, pop, Rociero choirs, dance, exhibitions, children's shows, magic and theatre, offering a diverse cultural programme for both residents and visitors.
Highlights include performances by Manuel "Aire y Compás", Paco "El Apañao", Ángela Muñoz, Dana Andrews & Gianni Piras, Mar Salá, Dúo Mijtana, Nexo, Betty Loop, José Luis Fernández, and Platero y Lola, together with appearances by numerous local dance academies, cultural associations and community groups, all of which will once again play a leading role in this year's summer programme.

Festival de las Tres Culturas
The Festival Frigiliana 3 Culturas (Three Cultures Festival) is an annual celebration held in the picturesque village of Frigiliana, located in the Axarquía region of Málaga province. This vibrant event pays homage to the historical coexistence of Christian, Muslim, and Sephardic Jewish cultures in medieval Spain.

Shuttle Service
The shuttle service operates 19:00–03:00, running continuously between the designated parking areas and the roundabout at the entrance to Frigiliana, in both directions.

The Tapas Route
Gastronomy once again takes centre stage at the festival. This year, 16 establishments will take part in the 2026 Tapas Route, each offering a delicious tapa inspired by the festival’s multicultural spirit.
Visit the participating establishments, enjoy their tapas and collect stamps in your Tapas Passport.
Complete the entire Tapas Route and you’ll receive two gifts!
COST: 3€ each drink with tapa.
TIMETABLE: from 6:00 pm to 12 am. Stamp the brochure in each restaurant when paying for your drink and get 1 Festival's T-shirt and bag. Deliver your stamped brochure at the Main Information Tent (make sure you have all 16 stamps without corrections). You can buy a reusable cup to participate, for 0,50€, you can ask for it in the Information Tents or in the restaurants included in the route.
It’s a great way to discover the flavours of Frigiliana while soaking up the unique atmosphere of the festival.
